Playing  9 holes at Willsboro Golf Course is only one of many recreational opportunities in Willsboro. Public parks and preserves in Willsboro include:

Boquet River Nature Preserve
Boquet River Nature Preserve accessible from downtown Willsboro. It includes 120 acres of floodplain and forest, and more than a half-mile of shoreline on the lower Boquet River.

Florence Hathaway Park
A town of Willsboro recreation park with tennis and volleyball courts. Open to the public year round, the park features the Florence Hathaway trail, a forested walk that goes through wooded grasslands, open hardwood forest, and dense thicket. The trail is great for wildlife viewing and birding.

Gateway Park:
This is a nice park with a good size covered area and 3 picnic tables. In the summer, Gateway Park hosts Willsboro Farmer’s Market on Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm.

Noblewood Park
Noblewood Park is natural area at the outlet of the Boquet River on Lake Champlain. It provides beach access to Lake Champlain and offers views to the east of the Green Mountains of Vermont. This 69-acre property is owned by the Town of Willsboro.  Noblewood Park's beach is open daily through the summer from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. $5 per car fee.

Rattlesnake Mountain
Head north on Route 22 towards I-87 and in about 4 miles you get to the Rattlesnake Mountain trailhead which offers some, but limited parking. A 1.3 mile steady uphill hill climb leads you to rocky ledges that offer sweeping views of Willsboro Point and Lake Champlain.
